ARTIST STATEMENT
I am artist based in UK, born in Prague. I address the challenges society is facing from shedding light on the aging crisis, society values , identity to life and death, trough digital media abstract drawing, sculptures, ceramics. I challenge social conventions and expectations and present alternative perspective and answers.
My current artistic practice explores age discrimination on women, and body image, with questions asking : what causes ageism in society? How does it affect society as a whole and the lives of older people? Why are aging women undervalued? This study, which is based on research from the fields of psychology, culture, sociology, philosophy, and spirituality, will be broadened to examine the exploitation of female artists in the entertainment industry, body shaming, and social media.
I graduated in Footwear Design (Fda), in Contemporary Fine Art (Ba Hons) , and currently study Ma Fine Arts.
